La batterie de la cartouche Airistech Vertex 2.0 dispose d'une batterie interne de 350mAh, de 3 réglages de tension variables et d'une fonction de préchauffage. Pour changer le niveau de tension, cliquez sur le bouton d'alimentation 3 fois rapement et la lumière LED changera de couleur pour indiquer le réglage actuel, Vert : 3,4 V, bleu : 3,7 V, rouge : 4,2 V. Pour utiliser la fonction Pre-Heat, cliquez sur le bouton d'alimentation 2 fois rapement et il se déclenchera à un faible voltage pendant 10 secondes. Avec une connexion standard 510, cette batterie est compatible avec presque toutes les cartouches disponibles.
